SEND Multi Sports Camp

What do we do?

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Together for Children to provide a SEND session for children with additional needs.

Everyone will take part in various sports and activities and our expert coaches will create a fun, inclusive and safe environment for children to make new friends, learn new skills and thrive.

Further Information:

Our camps are suitable for children ages 5-16 years old.

The child or young person must either attend a school in Sunderland or live within the City of Sunderland.

You may be contacted to answer some questions to assess your child’s eligability - this could include information about a support plan in school, if they have an Educational Health Care Plan, if they receive additional support in school lessons, if your child if under a professional such as; speech and language therapy, occupational therapist, paediatrician, health visitor, TfC social worker, TfC Early help worker, TfC SEND case worker, CAMHS, CYPS, Mental Health support team within school. We may contact you to discuss this further.

Children will require: Comfortable clothing for physical activity, a coat for any outdoor activities, trainers, and a drink.

Cost:

We are delighted to have secured funding from Together for Children to run a pilot program and this program is free to those children who are eligible.
